I use Format. Framing for professional framing of my art prints. They have been making frames in their Melbourne workshop for over 30 years, and deliver gallery quality, archival printing and handmade framing to clients all around Australia. PRINTING

​

Your artwork will be printed on a premium 300gsm 100% cotton rag using genuine Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer. Your giclee print will be dry mounted to an acid free 5mm foam board using an archival adhesive film.

TIMBER MOULDINGS

​

Format. mouldings are made from locally sourced sustainable Australian hardwood. The timber is milled, sanded and hand painted. They never use off the shelf or pre fabricated products. You can be assured of the highest quality gallery grade materials. For a sleek, gallery-style treatment they use a deep shadow box frame profile. Artwork is set back from the acrylic glazing, appearing to float in the frame.

ACRYLIC

​

The 3mm Plexiglass used is museum grade. It is lighter than glass, helps to protect your work from UV damage and also has the added advantage of being shatter proof. Not the cheaper flimsy plastic product you might find in store bought kit frames.

FINISHING

​

Your frame will be carefully hand assembled in the Melbourne studio. It will be sealed using framer’s wax tape and wired so it is ready to hang on your wall. It will arrive, at your door, in under 3 weeks, carefully wrapped in custom made, bump proof packaging.
